STUNNING EARLY 1900s LOETZ 'OIL SPOT' 7 1/4" VASE
(Item: LOETZ VASE)
~sold: $3226~
Offering today for a local "living
estate" a magnificent, circa 1904, LOETZ iridescent oil spot fluted 7
1/4 inch tall vase. Vase is pristine, with the exception of an
inconsequential flake next to the smoothen pontil on the bottom.
This little flake measures 3/16" by 1/8", as pictured and is to shallow
to measure a depth; there are no other chips, cracks, repairs or
blemishes. Please have a look at the exceptional color of the
vase. We've had this unsigned vase inspected by an professional
art glass show dealer who indeed confirmed the Loetz heritage and
confirmed the circa 1904 date and also stated "this is certainly a
better than average piece of Loetz." The vase has been in the
hands of one family since it's making, so, it is fresh to the market
and has never before been offered for sale.
Please
check our eBay feedback, Gold Powerseller status and bid with
confidence.
We've
agreed with the estate to a modest reserve which is well less than half of appraised
value.
We
will pack properly....double box...and ship promptly.
