THIS AUCTION:

Unsigned 5 gallon crock, incised "5".
Has heavy cobalt bird and is in very nice condition.
Has one firing spot, about 1/4 inch diameter.  No chips or cracks.
 Circa 1890.
12 inches tall and slightly canted to the top.
An excellent example of American stoneware with a cobalt decorated bird!....
